Heather Carisch was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and now resides in Bozeman Montana. She is a graduate of Western State College, where she earned a B.A. in both Art and Business. Carisch has also studied at the Studio Art Centers International in Florence, the Anderson Ranch in Colorado, and Santa Fe Institute of Fine Arts. While working at a Minneapolis gallery, Carisch started focusing on her own art and experimenting with printmaking techniques. Collections holding her work include the Los Angeles Modern Auction House as well as private and corporate collectors such as Bill Gates, Gerard Cafesjian, St. Thomas University, and Carlson Companies.
